It’s official! B-town’s stunt king Akshay Kumar will share the screen with ‘Dabangg’ beauty Sonakshi Sinha….

The two have been finalised for Shirish Kunder's ‘Joker’ which will be bannered under Farah Khan and Kunder’s Three’s Company along with Akki’s Hari Om Productions.

According to Kunder ‘Joker’ will be India’s first 3-D magnum opus. The helmer chose Akshay and Sonakshi because he felt their pairing looks fresh.

About the project, Shirish had shared on his micro-blogging site – “JOKER is a Human Drama. A tale of a bunch of Underdogs fighting for victory. Treated throughout with kickass humor. And some Sci-Fi.”

Adding to this Akshay clarified to sources that ‘Joker’ is not a super-hero film. “It is not about me wearing some clown's clothes or being part of a circus. Why it is called Joker is something you’ll to wait to know,” remarked Akki.

The film is reported to start its shooting in January 2011 and expected to release around Christmas the same year, revealed Shirish.
